Dublin Port Tunnel and eFlow Barrier-Free Tolling Operations Event

Visit two of Dublin city’s most exciting and innovative engineering facilities within the road transport industry.  This event which is being hosted by the National Roads Authority will comprise of two site visits over a 4 hour period. The aim of the event is to allow pupils to get grips with the requirements of managing and operating these facilities after construction is finished.  The visit will involve a mixture of demonstrations and activities. As part of the visit may be outdoors warm clothing is recommended.

The Stents and Rockets Challenge with Boston Scientific

This exciting event provides a hands on experience for senior primary school students 1. To design stents using the 3D drawing package SolidWorks 2.Designing and making a rocket using KNEX.

Each session lasts 90 minutes and students get the opportunity to win MP3 players sponsored by Boston Scientific.
