What?  An engaging presentation and question and answer session by Chief Fire Officer, Dave Carroll, of the Tipperary Fire and Rescue Services. Dave gave an insightful overview into the various career paths you can take within the engineering profession.

Why? An opportunity for students from Cahir Boys National School to hear about different engineering career paths and to give students the opportunity to ask questions about the profession.

  • Highlight engineering as a fun and diverse career choice
  • Differentiate between the various industries within engineering
  • Communication channel for students to learn and ask questions about engineering
  • Showcase the engineering profession through a local role model
