It’s competition time! Are you a Transition Year student? Can you crack the code this Engineers Week?
Engineers Ireland have teamed up with the Irish Maths Teachers’ Association to bring you Peter’s Problem.
Peter’s Problem is a ‘real-life’ math problem which connects with a typical engineering problem. It’s designed so that computer resources may be used in its solution, including use of the Internet to access data required for the problem. The problem is set at the level of Ordinary Junior Certificate.
There are 21 problems to solve – so you better get cracking.
The closing date is Friday, March 8th, 2019, the end of Engineers Week.
It’s very important to read and follow the guidelines provided below. Good luck!
