Bord Gáis Engineers are happy to visit your school with the aim of creating a positive awareness and to encourage students to consider a career in engineering. Participating engineers will visit post-primary schools at an agreed time and date to deliver some details on pursuing a career in engineering and also delivering some individual details on the career path to date of the presenter!

The Simulated Work Environment (SWE) is an ergonomically designed training area, normally used for apprenticeship training that enables participants to physically and mentally apply the engineering principles in the manufacturing process.  FG Wilson have adapted this programme as part of Engineer’s Week and are opening their doors to host a local school visit.
